3ROC x Jackworth x ALT: Historic Walker Ewing Open House
December 5 @ 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Erected in the 1700s and permanently protected by Allegheny Land Trust in the 2020s, the Historic Walker Ewing Log House gives visitors a peek inside early American life.
Tour this historic log home with ALT staff and learn about local land conservation efforts that made protecting this cabin and nearby forests possible. In the holiday spirit, we’ll also have crafts like a holiday letter-writing station, an ornament-making station, and conservation wares you can buy for your tree-loving loved ones.
Jackworth Ginger Beer will be available for purchase (alcoholic and non-alcoholic available; ID required for those choosing to drink alcohol). Ticket and Ginger Beer sales support our efforts to save local land.
Cozy up in the cabin with us!
