Volunteer Training & Workday: Invasive Species

Learn to identify and manage invasive plants at Bethel Green
ALT’s education and stewardship teams are joining forces for an instructive hike through Bethel Green. Participants will learn to identify invasive plants commonly found at Bethel Green and apply their knowledge to safely and correctly remove these plants! The skills and knowledge gained at this volunteer event can be applied to stewarding at Bethel Green, other ALT conservation areas, and your own backyard.
- Rain or shine, but we will cancel in the event of thunderstorms
- No bathrooms on site
- Tools and gloves will be provided
- To avoid ticks and poison ivy, please wear long pants and sleeves and close-toed shoes
- Bring a reusable water bottle
- Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult
- Meet in the gravel lot across from 3571 Valley Drive
**Registration is required so we can communicate in case of any necessary changes.**
