Tree Stewardship Program Group Session

Registration is required to participate in this volunteer event.

Join ALT’s Field Coordinator for a morning of tree care and data collection as we perform the tasks of an “ALT Tree Steward” at Girty’s Woods. This event is open to existing ALT Tree Stewards and those who would like to become dedicated Tree Stewards. Together, we will plant and assign ID tags to trees, map and collect data on previously planted trees, and conduct dormant-season maintenance.

Closed-toed shoes, long pants, and a fully charged phone are required to participate. Tools, gloves, and light snacks will be provided. Please bring a full reusable water bottle and be prepared for up to two miles of hiking on uneven surfaces.
