Tree Planting: Meyer Farm

Plant native trees at Meyer Farm!
Registration is required so we can communicate in case of any necessary changes
Join ALT’s stewardship team for a morning at Meyer Farm! We’ll be planting native trees and shrubs near the boundary of the property to create a ‘working buffer’ of plants that are beneficial to wildlife and humans. Volunteers will use shovels to plant trees and mallets to install deer-proof protective tubes.
- Rain or shine, but we will cancel in case of thunderstorms.
- Wear long pants, high socks, and long sleeves to protect yourself from thorns, ticks, and poison ivy. Please wear close-toed shoes
- ALT provides all tools and gloves. Please bring a reusable water bottle.
- No Bathrooms on site.
- Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
- Park and meet in the parking area near the barn. Parking is limited- consider carpooling!
