Earth Day Cleanup at Churchill Valley Greenway

April 27 @ 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Lend a hand to beautify the greenway!

Litter pickers to heavy lifters- all are welcome for a great big cleanup at Churchill Valley Greenway! Volunteers will explore every nook and cranny of the greenway to pick up litter near roadsides and valleys, and larger remnants of the land’s country club past along the trails. Every helping hand matters in the effort to restore this beautiful green space.

This cleanup event will run from 10am to 4pm. Volunteers are free to pitch in for an hour or two or stay for the long haul! Gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Participants must wear close-toed shoes and long pants and are encouraged to wear protective layers that can get dirty. Please bring a reuseable water bottle. There will be a restroom available. Children are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. This event will take place rain or shine, but we will cancel in case of thunderstorms.

Park in the upper parking lot at 800 Beulah Road and sign in at the registration table to receive your gloves, bags, and map of the cleanup sites.
