ALT x Sierra Club: Girty’s Woods Trail Building

Learn trail building skills and help to restore Girty’s Woods! We will be working at the direction of the Allegheny Land Trust to build and maintain trails in this nature preserve in Reserve Township. This adult only activity will be three hours of active work, in which we work under the direction of ALT staff to build safe, stable trails. We will learn about how rewilding of previously used lands can help native species, and offer access to nature for large populations.

More details will be shared with registered participants closer to the outing. This is an adult only outing and four legged friends are not allowed. Wear sturdy shoes, bring work gloves if you have them, and prepare to have fun and get dirty.
