Overview
Buena Vista Heights is a humble ALT green space whose community-forged trails are enjoyed by neighbors and whose native habitat provides a refuge for flora and fauna alike. The woodlands are a relatively young mixed forest, a narrow and deeply-cut ravine supports a perennial and attractive stream. Conserved by ALT to preserve its ecological value, the land is now one of the highest rated Carbon Credit Projects in the nation; learn more here.
Open Hunting is permitted at this green space. We ask that hunters read our Hunting Policy, and apply for a free permit before hunting on any ALT conservation area.
