Help Sycamore Island’s Reforestation Efforts
Registration is required so we can communicate in case of any necessary changes
Join ALT for a day of reforestation on Sycamore Island! Volunteers will use shovels, pruners, and loppers to plant trees and remove invasive plants. Tools, gloves, and tree-planting expertise will be provided.
Registrants will receive further details prior to the date of the event. Questions can be sent to dani@alleghenylandtrust.org
- Rain or shine, but ALT will cancel in case of thunderstorms or dangerous river conditions.
- Dress for muddy conditions and wear close toed shoes. Synthetic or wool clothing, long pants and sleeves are recommended to avoid poison ivy or ticks.
- ALT provides all tools and extra water. Please bring a reusable water bottle.
- No Bathrooms on site.
- Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
