Puddles to Paws: Teaching Preschoolers about Water & Wildlife

Join ALT Senior Director of Education Julie for a Getting Little Feet WET AND Growing Up WILD educator workshop presented in partnership with the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium. Getting Little Feet WET is the preschool version of Project WET. Project WET is dedicated to solving critical environmental challenges by teaching the world about water. Growing Up WILD is the preschool version of Project WILD. Project WILD’s mission is to provide wildlife-based conservation and environmental education that fosters responsible actions toward wildlife and related natural resources.

This workshop is highly participatory and hands on and will include Zoo exploration time along with guided activities.

Included with your ticket price is admission for the day to the Zoo, BOTH the award-winning Getting Little Feet WET and Growing Up WILD curricula guides, 5 ACT 48 hours (if needed), PQAS hours (if needed), lunch, behind the scenes tours and animal encounters.
