Project WET: Ocean Exploration

Join ALT Senior Director of Education Julie for a Project WET educator workshop presented in partnership with the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium. This WET workshop will focus on the importance of our oceans! Project WET is dedicated to solving critical environmental challenges by teaching the world about water through hands-on, science-based water education resources to formal and non-formal educators around the world. These resources encourage responsible environmental stewardship and promote meaningful action to address environmental challenges, climate change, social justice, and sustainability.
This workshop is highly participatory and hands on and will include Zoo exploration time along with guided activities.
Included with your ticket price is admission for the day to the Zoo, the award-winning Project WET curriculum guide, 5 ACT 48 hours (if needed), lunch, behind the scenes tours and animal encounters.
