Tree Planting: Sycamore Island

Registration is required so we can communicate in case of any necessary changes

Join ALT for a day of reforestation on Sycamore Island! Volunteers will use shovels, pruners, and loppers to plant trees and remove invasive plants. Tools, gloves, and tree-planting expertise will be provided.

• Rain or shine, but ALT will cancel in case of thunderstorms or dangerous river conditions.
• Dress for muddy conditions and wear close toed shoes. Synthetic or wool clothing, long pants and sleeves are recommended to avoid poison ivy or ticks.
• ALT provides all tools and extra water. Please bring a reusable water bottle.
• No Bathrooms on site.
• Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
