ALT During the Pandemic
last updated 11/19/2020
The health, wellness, and safety of all ALT visitors, volunteers, and staff are our top priority. As we continue to follow this fluid situation with COVID-19, we will adhere to guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, the PA Department of Health, and local authorities.
During these uncertain times, our conservation areas are open and available for anyone looking to lower stress levels, entertain children/grandchildren with a walk, or take an opportunity to reconnect with nature. We do not encourage large group outings at this time and visitors should follow recommended guidelines. Please wear a mask to keep yourself and fellow trail users safe, and please provide 6 feet of space between yourselves and passing groups along trails. Our conservation areas have been busier than usual.
We are currently postponing events held between November 18 and December 18 due to the current county Stay-at-Home Advisory. Individual participants of any pandemic-impacted events will be notified of cancellations via email, and events will be rescheduled when possible. Fees associated with classes will be refunded if desired by the participant. Please find virtual events for all ages and events after December 18, 2020 on our event calendar.
ALT personnel are working on an adjusted schedule between home and office, and have access to email and phone messages. There may be some delay in responding, so please be patient with us.
Thank you for continuing to support ALT and please be safe and well.
