ALT Summer Camp

ALT & Backyard Nature have partnered to design a summer camp for kids to engage in summertime, nature-based learning! Camp is a place where adventure awaits at every corner, and we encourage your camper to embrace every moment with curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm.

Our 2025 Summer Camp was offered free to attendees thanks to the generosity of The Grable Foundation and individuals who supported our Earth Day Campaign. The program explored the wonders of nature through guided walks and activities at Allegheny Land Trust’s nearby green space: Churchill Valley Greenway. Campers explored field and forest habitats, played games and crafts, and made new friends!

In addition to our own summer camp, ALT can provide activities and programming for existing summer camps. We’ve partnered with many organizations to bring hands-on environmental education to summer camps across the region. It is never too early for us to book summer programming! Some of our dates for summer can book as early as January, so please allow as much notice as possible to our team to ensure the best availability.
