Join Laurel Riley\, recent Arizona State University graduate\, working Horticulturist\, and aspiring Botanist in this virtual program to learn about moss diversity and ecological roles! Laurel’s research is being conducted to lend knowledge on native moss ranges and abundances in Dead Man’s Hollow\, investigate how the presence of Pennsylvania invasive species affects the growth and persistence of such populations\, and explore the microhabitats within the green space that best harbor bryophyte life\, so as to infer or guide future conservation and habitat protection/restoration projects.\nWe hope you join us to learn more about these little plants that carpet the forest!
