Virtual Info Session: Deer Creek Conservation Project
February 27 @ 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

OVERVIEW: Join Allegheny Land Trust to learn more about the 266-acre Deer Creek Conservation Project in Indiana Township. During this info session, ALT will introduce themselves, give a project summary and current status, and open the chat for questions.
BACKGROUND: Since early 2024, Allegheny Land Trust and community partners have been working to permanently conserve 266 acres of woodlands in Indiana Township.
This land is adjacent to the 59-acre Emmerling Community Park, within the Deer Creek Watershed, and host to a one-mile portion of the Rachel Carson Trail. Conserving this green space will preserve the character of this community, build resiliency, and provide expanded public recreational opportunities enhancing the quality of life for generations to come.
