Churchill Valley Greenway Planning: Public Input Session

Allegheny Land Trust is working with the surrounding community to prepare a stewardship and management plan for the Churchill Valley Greenway. Please join us to share your thoughts and ideas about the future care of and usage for the green space. Sandwiches and light refreshments provided. For participants with children, we’ve arranged a supervised activity for ages 5+ with our certified education staff for the duration of the planning session.

While this land was once a private space, it has been slowly reverting to natural land. Now that Allegheny Land Trust owns and permanently conserves this land, the nonprofit will maintain and improve the land to support community resiliency today and for generations to come. This session is an important opportunity for stakeholders of all kinds – neighbors, hikers, bikers, birders, community groups, etc. – to offer their suggestions for the future of this green space.
