Volunteer Training: Stream Monitoring

September 16 @ 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Expand your knowledge and gain some volunteer training. Join our experts to learn about stream monitoring at Dead Man’s Hollow Conservation area– a green space with a rich history, spooky folklore, and award-winning biodiversity.

Attendees will learn the importance of water quality, especially as it relates to this conservation area, and will learn how to detect, record, and address water pollution in any body of water.

This event is great for both the public and for local volunteers to learn water quality monitoring needs and techniques, and to learn how to get involved with monitoring and conservation efforts.

Long pants, high socks, and waterproof closed-toe shoes are recommended. Prepare to walk over rocky terrain
