Looking for ways to make water education fun and meaningful for your students, scouts or community members? Look no further than the international water education curriculum of Project WET! During this workshop we’ll wade through how to best utilize the new full color Guide 2.0 curriculum book, the online Discover Water resource and the ins and outs of getting people of any age involved in the wonderful world of water! This workshop is great for leaders of all ages PreK – adult, pre-service educators, scout leaders and non-formal educators and includes your own copy of the Guide 2.0 and access to Project WET online support.
Upon completing the in person workshop you will become a Project WET Educator and upon completing the at home assignment you will become a Project WET Facilitator and will be able to run workshops at your own facility or for other organizations. Continuing education hours (Act 48) are available for educators and a certificate of completion will be provided.
Note: This is a pre-workshop day to the PA Association of Environmental Educators (PAEE) Annual Conference. All educators and interested adults are welcome to attend the workshop and conference.
