Clean Up to Work Out: Tire Haulin’ Volunteer Day
September 24 @ 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Ditch your normal workout routine in favor of tackling a tire dump to work your muscles and benefit a local conservation area.
Dead Man’s Hollow is a 450-acre conservation area that has a storied past, is recognized as a Wild Plant Sanctuary, and is home to a diversity of plants and animals. Despite it’s rich history and ecological awards, we need to help to clean up the headwaters of Dead Man’s Run stream located on the property.
We’re looking for dedicated and/or hardy volunteers to get dirty, get fit, and have fun while helping to haul 100+ tires from a steep stream bank to ensure the Hollow remains safe and healthy for human visitors and plant and animal inhabitants alike!
RSVP on Eventbrite for this outdoor fitness fun!
